Christmas gifts and cards

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we near the end of term and the festive season, we know that some of you will be thinking about ‘thank you’ gifts for staff.

Our staff do not expect presents, but if you do want to give something, staff would appreciate:

*Cards and letters – kind words mean a lot!

   *Homemade gifts

*Donations to charity on their behalf

*A small token of your appreciation

Changes due to the coronavirus pandemic

Due to the current situation, please do not send in gifts if you or your child are self-isolating, have symptoms of coronavirus or have tested positive. If your child wants to write a card, they can instead send an email or e-card to the school office emails – office@emcps.co.uk, and we will make sure this reaches their teacher(s)

Christmas Cards

We still have positive cases of COVID within our classes, so to avoid any unnecessary contact between pupils, we ask that children only bring 1 card in for their whole class rather than individual cards. The teacher will display these in the classrooms.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support this term, especially with your response to the Carol Services procedures we put in place, and wish you and your families a Happy and Holy Christmas.

Thank you for your continued support.

Happy Christmas!
