Parents Evening

Parents Meetings
Spring Term 2022
Following a review of our current COVID 19 Risk Assessment we feel that, with some small measures we are able to reintroduce face to face Parents Meetings.
In order to reduce the number of adults coming into school we have separated the meetings to take place over 2 weeks, rather than all parents coming in together as we have in the past.
Parents meetings will be taking place on the following dates :-
Key Stage 2 pupils (Years 3, 4, 5 and 6)
Parent/Carer(s) can book appointments online on :-
Tuesday 29 March
Thursday 31 March
Key Stage 1 pupils (Reception, Year 1 and 2)
Parent/Carer(s) can book appointments online on :-
Tuesday 5 April
Thursday 7 April
Please note there is a choice of two days but you only need to attend on one of these dates.
At this meeting you will be able to meet your child's class teacher, (for a 10 minute appointment), and visit their classroom. There will also be the opportunity to look through some of your child's books and they will have prepared some information for you highlighting some work they are proud of.
COVID measures
As you will be aware we still have some positive cases of COVID in school, so in order for these face to face meetings to go ahead, we ask that you adhere to our school's COVID Risk Assessment measures.
* Wear a face covering
* Adhere to social distancing
* Do not attend if you are feeling unwell at all or displaying any COVID symptoms.
Please note staff may be sitting behind a transparent screen.
Booking process
Times are available to book from 2.30pm until 5.50pm.
All appointments are booked online through our Parents Evening app on a first come, first served basis.
Key stage 2 will be sent a link later today and Key Stage 1 will be sent a link next Wednesday (30 March) to enable you to book a time slot.
Access to school
For Key Stage 2 Parents meetings - access will be through the BOTTOM GATE on Netherby Drive.
For Key Stage 1 Parents meetings - access will be through the TOP GATE on Netherby Drive.
Once in school staff will be on hand to direct you to your child's classroom, please ensure you arrive on time and do not miss your chosen slot.
One of the hardest things during this pandemic has been the reduced opportunities for parents to come into school, so we have tried our best; with the added measures, to ensure that this event goes ahead safely.
Please join us in saying some prayers that our current positive cases do not increase, as we would hate to have to postpone this valuable event.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you soon.
