Year Two visit to Washington Wetland Centre
As part of our science curriculum learning, Year Two will be visiting the Washington Wetland Centre to see animals and their habitats. Children will have the opportunity to go ‘pond dipping’ and explore how we conserve ecosystems.
We will be visiting the Wetland Centre on Monday 4th April leaving school at 9:15 and returning before school ends. Please ensure children arrive to school on time so we are able to leave promptly for our visit.
Lunch will be provided by school. There is no cost for this visit. Children should come to school in their own comfortable clothes that may get wet or muddy e.g. joggers and jumpers. We will be walking around the grounds of the Wetland Centre so children need to wear comfortable footwear e.g. trainers. We will be outside all day so make sure your child has a warm waterproof coat.
